Passion sure pays if you persist at something. This was too cool of a finish to an ultimate challenge. This project was inspired by one of our cool glass techniques called chiseled glass, it is a unique custom bar water feature. This unique perspective was impressive enough for Ocean Home Magazine to feature, and we all agree. The details are many so call for full details.
Super-Carved Glass Panel - This dynamically carved glass panel was one of the deepest carved panels to date. This is a 3/4" plate glass slab 6 feet tall by 6 1/2 feet wide. A custom depth gauge was used to determine the depth of carving before reaching the other side. This is maxed out. The other feature to notice is all the contour, it was all done by hand with a standard sandblasting machine.
Super-Custom Chiseled Glass Water Feature (night) Here is the night shot showing the creative glass lit up with RGB LED's. Looking west to the city from this penthouse unit. Water fills the upper trough, cascades out of the center into the glass channel down the length of the bar and off the end into the floor catch.
Glass Wave Sculpture - This cool layered glass sculpture plays on pattern and form. These are solid bonded glass form structures. This concept technique is unlimited in style and a focused directive in our future portfolio. The dynamics of formed glass sculpture gets even more interesting with finishing techniques and color.
Sculptured Mirrored Walls - A powerful element of this unique mirrored wall was the darker glass sections. They are custom made panels of mirror made dark with colored bonding adhesive and gold and silver leaf. Custom crystal glass shelves go over the dark areas. Call for finished images to be sent.
Custom Beveled Doors - This beautiful and elegant entry was revamped recently. The original entry had solid wood doors and only the decorative perimeter glass existing. We supplied our architect with new doors to suit his design along with full custom beveled and leaded glass to continue and complete the overall design.
Photo Engraving Revealed - The translucent print is being lifted to expose and show the magic of very intricate hand-cut and blasted details down to the strings of the guitar and their subtle shadows. Note the LED lights wrapping the edge of the glass which lights up the etched imagery. Exquisite detail.
Dynamic Photo Representation - This image is one of our custom marine art commissions of a main salon window package engraving. These complete package installations include removal of existing standard glass. They include an entirely new set of custom glass panels integrated with lighting and controls if desired. The engraved or artistic panel of safety glass is the illuminated exterior panel with a black glass interior panel to be tinted as desired.
These are a set of one of our contemporary custom doors. Unique and handmade as all our other works, this design technique utilizes first a custom fade etching, from there we integrated a series of linear carved and shaded lines from both surfaces of the glass. This is something appreciated only in person touching the design.
Traditional Techniques - We create glass in a manner consistent to the masters who came before us. Following we raise the bar whenever possible. Traditional Stained Glass Painting shown is done on a not too traditional surface. The Acanthus leaves shown here are stained glass itself, just pre-contour carved to extreme limits first. The weakened state of the thin glass re-strengthens itself in the annealing process.
Filigree Carving - Deep carving beyond the surfaces. This is a whole new ball game. Breaking through the surfaces of glass in this way is incredibly risky. This is living on the edge for the creator, the fun, nail-biting and challenging part. A successful finished work of art of this caliber is fragile and collectible.
Free-form Carved Glass Sculpture. This creative glass sculpture was a one-of-a-kind trophy given to the Best-Of- Category in a fishing tournament. It grabbed a good amount of attention in the lineup. 3-D effects with the sailfish were optimized by layering, and setting it upon the chiseled glass stack of interest was a perfect finish.
Stacked Chiseled Glass - This most unique creative technique used by us is a specialized technique we have mastered over the years. Anyone can stack and bond cut strips of glass together, the significance to the eye for us is how clean we can maintain the breaks from edge to edge. A few other significant details are the variety of breaks we can get and the narrowness of strip with each thickness.
Tropical Etched Design - The most common subject matter used in the business. To most, the details are irrelevant, to the one's with an eye for design, we are here. Our tropical engravings have life, movement and flow to their design. How we compose our design work on a door, window, shower or anything of need is significant and it is our most important element.
Details - The difference between the businesses and the difference between the creative artist interpreting it. Our passion may be unmatched in this business. The proof will be known from here in every finished work of art thay leaves this studio. Christopher Reisert - Artist / Visionary and owner of Reflective Collections, Inc.
Above and below the waterline, what a cool way to utilize space. This unique perspective is pretty dramatic and done to the highest level of our expertise. The anatomy of all of our fish will always be done to perfect standards. We take a great deal of time in studying our subject matter before our etching even starts, it pays off here.
Organic Tumbled Glass Rock... These rocks have been saw cut and bonded to base glass. This technique was used in a large glass water feature. Use your imagination, glass columns, table bases, thick-chunk room dividers it is all possible. Wait to see this in floor to ceiling illuminated support columns.
This is our signature chiseled low-iron glass backed in matching low-iron mirror. This is over-the-top in many respects, challenge, skill, drama and effect. We are designing this unique feature as a wall application, a 19-Foot wide wall 10-Feet tall and curved. If approved this will be the most spectacular wall treatment we have ever done of its kind. Photos to follow soon.
